I’m going to break from the blog post I had scheduled for this morning and share some good news with our readers. Don’t worry – I’ll be putting up the promised post on protecting yourself financially when planning your wedding tomorrow!
I auditioned for the Pensacola Little Theatre production of Driving Ms. Daisy on Monday and on Tuesday night, I got a call offering me the role of Boolie! For those of you who don’t know, Boolie was played by Dan Ackroyd in the 1989 film of the same name. I’m honored to be chosen for the role, and hope to do Pensacola’s performing arts community proud with my performance.
If you’ve already booked us, your wedding is late this year and you’re waiting to book, or even if your wedding is in 2012 and you’d like to see what a DJ and Master of Ceremonies that’s just crazy enough to take to the stage can do – be sure to stop by and see the play which will be performed on April 28-30 and May 6-8 at Pensacola Little Theatre.
And if you want to see us in a more ‘traditional’ setting – you can see Sue and I performing at Pensacola Little Theatre’s Cabaret fund raiser on March 26th in the Jungle Book Room (Gallery). We’ll be doing karaoke for everyone that night and we’ll be sure to have LOTS of great surprises in store! Come out and support the performing arts community in Pensacola!
